In my previous post, I talked about being food literate, eat clean and support your detox organs. Combined with a good lifestyle, a healthy weighloss will likely happen. How to we do this? First of all, we need to reduce stress because cortisol, which is the stress hormone, is vital in a moderate manner but if your adrenal glands secrete too much of it, you will have problems with your other hormones such as testosterone that will be too low and your insulin receptors will become more resistant to insulin which in both cases will make you fat.
Cortisol is the “fight or flight” hormone. You might say, I only need to relax or do meditation and it will work. While this can help greatly, to reduce your cortisol level, you need to check your whole life because today, we have a tendancy to have a lot of imaginary lions that induce a fight or flight response. Do you like your job? Are you happy with your relationships (friends and love)? Are you ok with finances? Do you watch a screen before going to bed? Do you eat food that produces an inflammatory response to your gut and thus your whole body? Do you have a lot of radio frequencies from your cellphone stuck to your head often, from wi-fi or from “intelligent” electric counter? Do you sleep enough with a good sleep quality?
Coaching with neuro linguistic programming techniques might also help to reduce your cortisol level because it will help you change your perspectives about your life and your challenges.
When your cortisol level are lowered, you need to improve the way you eat. If you want to loose weight fast with an effective short duration of 3 weeks diet, it’s possible and it will help to motivate you with the great results. However, a diet should be a lifetstyle to improve health. If you adopt a healthy liftstyle, you should loose weight and fat and have more energy. If it doesn’t happen this way, you are doing something wrong.
I’m my next post, I will adress the detox paradigm. Should we detox? If so, how should we do this?
